Some Brief Thoughts (after a very long night (and day):
- Kennedy: Not 1980, but inspiring nonetheless in what looks to be his last appearance before a Democratic National Convention.
- Michelle: Well crafted speech hits the nail on the head. Powerful delivery and even more powerful story that will resonate with millions of working-class Americans.
- Gripes: No mention of McCain. One less night to define the opponent. Does it begin on Tuesday night with HRC? Or is Biden getting ready to hit clean-up and knock one out of the park on Wednesday?
- Repeat: Is this convention more about Obama defining McCain? Or Obama defining Obama? Monday night told us the latter, but we still have three nights to go.
