Some brief thoughts on the Democratic National Convention:
- Boy do I miss Tim Russert.
- Where's Bubba?
- Is this convention more about Obama defining McCain? Or Obama defining Obama?
- It's still the economy stupid.
- Polls mean nothing until September 27th (figure it out).
- Get ready to hear a lot about food stamps, firefighters, cops and single parents.
- Moments to watch: Kennedy, Bubba (yes, until Hillary is President, he's still more important), and of course Obama on Thursday night.
